Chuvashia (11.2009)

A small republic in central Russia, Chuvashia is one of Russia's most densely populated & hospitable republics with a population approaching 1.5 million. Turks by origin, the Chuvash were converted to Christianity in the 16th century, but, to this day, have preserved their language in its original form. Often referred to as Russia's 'Little Bavaria', Chuvashia is Russia's center for hops growing and is famous throughout the country for its beer brewing.
