Project RuSu 365
Not always so successful or interesting, & not always daily, though certainly a reflection of our daily lives - more like pick of the day. Our goal - to share our world and improve our skills. Thanks to all the members of the SmugMug Daily Community for your support and input. Feel free to leave feedback by clicking on 'Add Comment' below. We look forward to hearing your thoughts. The photo of the day will always be in first position. Thank you for looking. - Rustem Safronov & Susan Gilman a.k.a. RuSu. This gallery was started on October 26, 2010.

Billie Jean had requested a photo of the refugee camp where the last two portraits posted were taken and, quite honestly, there isn't a single great shot or one that captures the futility of life for those who have spent 20 years in the camp. I put this collage together hoping to show not only the conditions, but the meaninglessness of life without purpose and the unbroken exuberance of youth. (5.15.2011)
Count your blessings & enjoy your Sunday.

on May 22, 2011Powerful collage! Each one tells a story. The photos of the old man and the children are heart- wrenching. Do the children know what their futures hold? So full of smiles, it is as though they were photographed in a better place and pasted into this picture. So sad.

on May 16, 2011It is heart wrenching to see how people must live... and for 20 years. It makes me so sad to think of the children and the elderly who must endure living conditions such as this, they deserve much better. I will say a prayer for them. Excellent collage.
