Stained glass window detail in Madrid's Cathedral Santa María la Real de La Almudena. (10.22.2011)
One can't help but be struck by the modernity & intensity of the windows in Madrid's primary cathedral, which took 100 years to complete. I was captivated by the translucence, color, & depth to the Madonna's eyes in this window. (SOOC)
